Some things I learned the hard way:
· Put your keys in the same place every time, every day.
· The tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick sound that your car is making is a cry for help. It will not get better and your car cannot walk it off.
· Procrastination is not your friend. Whatever it is, stop reading this, and do it now.
· Do not use the microwave as a timer.
· Read and reread your texts and emails before you send them.
· Store brand feminine products = disaster (and that is a BEST case scenario). No exceptions.
· Cheap pantyhose always runs on the first wear. I think it is the law. Spend the extra buck and watch your nails and put lotion on your heels.
· You don’t have as many friends as you think you do. Tell people that you need help moving this Saturday. The ones that show up are your real friends.
· It takes 70-80 seconds to pop a mini bag of microwave popcorn in the small microwave in your office break room. Trust me.
Here’s the thing: Someone once said a smart person learns from their own mistakes. A wise person learns from someone else’s.
